"A Holiday Night In San Francisco"

Ok, so this cannot be appreciated simply by looking at this small photo. This is technically a thumbnail of the real photo. This is my very first Panoramic Photograph, so please view it the way it is meant to be :) Go check it out on Gigapan!

On the left side of the photo, you will see the controls. Please click the "Full Screen" button, which is located right below the "View All" button. Once you are in that full screen view, start clicking to zoom in...go ahead, keep zooming...the level of detail at the max zoom is incredible. Especially check out the TransAmerica building (with the holiday beacon lit up) and ferry terminal. I think I am addicted to panos now :)

Thanks to Chris...my 5D Mark III was in the shop, and he so kindly let me use his Canon 1DX, 200mm f/2, and video tripod with a pano head to take this :) Thanks Baldy!

I am currently ordering this as a HUGE metal print to put in my office at SmugMug :)
"Jailed City"

This is an old photo. A couple of years I believe. Since I have been super busy with some photography projects I have to finish, I haven’t had much time for my “personal” photography. =( So I realized I had never made this a photo of the day. So, here it is!

I took this with a 400+mm focal length from downtown Tiburon CA.
